Karuizawa (軽 井 沢 町, Karuizawa-machi) is a popular tourist mountain village for Japanese people in Nagano Prefecture. There are many German restaurants there as well as shops selling regional products.

The place is known to have been visited several times by John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono.
