Omotesando, often described as the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo, is a large avenue known for its luxury stores (Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc.) and the very modern architecture of its buildings. In winter the illuminated avenue becomes one of the most beautiful streets in the city.

Omotesando Avenue is just down from Harajuku's famous Takeshita-dori Street.
